Food and Drink

At HYP we know the importance of a healthy, balanced diet for both the physical and mental health of children and young people. Cooking is an essential life skill, so young people are encouraged to get involved wherever possible, be it in a one-one mentoring session or Youth Café or Breakfast Club.

Through our involvement with FareShare, we are lucky enough to receive donations of redistributed food from local supermarkets. This allows us to ensure surplus food is being used where it’s needed, instead of becoming waste.
